Hi Everyone!

I completed my first round of HCG short cycle. I was down 20lbs officially this morning. Tonight will be my 3rd night without my shot, and I was supposed to switch to 800 calories tomorrow, but I actually didn't make it through today on 500 calories. I was starving all day and was extrememly weak and dizzy. So I decided to switch today. I had a rough afternoon, but that's ok. I will be ok with whatever happens to me on the scale tomorrow morning. I have to be, because I have to get back on the wagon tomorrow. I am on 800 calories for 7 days and then back onto round 2 for another 23 days. After that round, I will be on a 6 week break for the wedding and familymoon to Hawaii. Don't want to eat like this for our 9 day vacation!

Today is day 17 and I'm doing great still. I haven't had much loss and I'm not sure if it's because I've been testing waters with different foods or if I'm overdoing salt. But I'm staying positive. I went to see my doc today and they did a body analysis and found that I've lost 10 pounds of actual fat, 4 pounds of water and 2 pounds of muscle. She doesn't like the muscle loss, but as of right now she's not super concerned. When I go back in 3 weeks we'll see what happens. I'm going to do the short cycle so on the 15th that will be my last injection for 10 days. I will do 3 days of 500 cal without the shot, then 7 days of 800 calories and then I will start another 23 day round of 500 with injection and then cycle off for the wedding to maitenance which will be 1200 cal a day for 6 weeks. Nervous about going off, but you have to cause your body will figure out the trick and it will stop everything.

On another note, today I avoided cake and pizza at my work. The entire building was treated to cake at 9am this morning, yah, i know right, 9am?? Then two of the divisions were treated to a pizza party for lunch. Luckily I was at the doctor during the pizza party. Two of my favorite foods in one day. Blah, what a temptation and guess what, I didn't even blink! So proud of myself! Yay me!

Today my scale was being a retard, but it looks like I'm down .6 from yesterday. Yesterday was a super lazy day. I pretty much laid around and didn't do anything. Probably the reason for such a little loss. But a loss is a loss right?!?! I just hate being home on the weekends with nothing to do because my mind goes haywire and causes all the cravings. I haven't given in to them but it's still hard none-the-less. Yesterday for lunch I made chicken soup out of carrots, onion and cabbage. It was really good, but I think I put too much salt into the homemade broth. That could be another reason for such a small loss. Either way I'm still on track! Today is going to be a pretty difficult day. We are going to a friends house for the Super Bowl and she is going to have a ton of food. Ugh... that's going to be hard!

Today is day 13 of the HCG diet and I'm doing amazing! I'm down 14.6 pounds and it's a wonderful feeling!! I had some issues at first with hunger. The first two days on the low calorie diet, I was starving, but after some wonderful help from other online users, I adjusted my dose and I'm doing great now! I truly am amazed at how well I've done on HCG and how well I've been able to stick to the protocol. The Queen of Failure is hanging up her crown!
